Our Story

In 2016, Tailgator founder, Fred Goldfarb was hospitalized after a rear end collision on his bike.  After his recovery he asked himself: Cars have brake lights, why don't bikes? They do now!

It took almost five years to perfect the light and overcome the technological hurdles, but Fred and his team did it. We now announce The Tailgator Brake Light is the most accurate bicycle brake light in the world.
