1. Better Ride with Gene Hamilton, 3-day, Trail Subtleties & Trail Strategy MTB Skills Course

Attend a short capsule of one of the cycling events 2021, BETTER RIDE WITH GENE HAMILTON. It's a three-day training camp being organized at MOAB, Utah.

The coach, Mr. Gene Hamilton, comes with over 30 years of coaching experience. In such bike events, you can work on your skills and condition your physical fitness and mental robustness to be a better rider. The camp shall help you in gaining a balanced posture, efficient technique for riding better, faster, and smoother. His guidance shall help you win races, and minimize injuries, thus prolonging your biking journey. He has curated his coaching curriculum over years and designed them for all sorts of riders - beginners or pros.

A well-known name in the coaching circuit, Gene has administered multiple camps for a number of EWS stars - Mitch Ropelato, Cody Kelly, Shawn Neer, and McKay Vezina have been there to name a few. He has been no less of a cyclist himself, being a silver medalist in 2002 and two times bronze medalist in 1999 & 2006 at the UCI World Masters Championships. He was the US National Champion in 2019.

America is a proud nation where liberty and equality revels and history is revered. We love and adore our past, for which our ancestors have toiled with their blood and sweat. With a singular aim of reliving the story of UGRR and keeping the flame of our past lit in our hearts, the community of Cambridge brings to you a unique event - Bike the UGRR.


Biking along the Underground Railroad is going to be surreal, where you will experience the journey undertaken by Harriet Tubman helping scores of enslaved people to their freedom. You will ride through the secret routes and safe houses established in the early to mid-19th century used in the process. A word about the hero of the County - Harriet Tubman. She was a liberator, an abolitionist, who advocated for women’s suffrage and championed the cause of the escapees. She undertook numerous precarious journeys from Dorchester County, leading over 70 enslaved people to their freedom.

The community has commissioned a statue of their hero at Cambridge, her birthplace. It will be sculpted by award-winning sculptor Wes Wofford, to be installed in front of the Court House. This was once a space where enslaved people were auctioned, and the site where she made her first rescue.

In this Bike the UGRR cycling events 2021, in addition to the historical pit stops, you can relish the scenic marsh and farmlands. Your participation in the event shall help in raising funds for the statue to be installed in September 2022.




3. Tour delle Vigne Oktoberfest Ride

Exiting from their traditional annual affair during spring, the Lodi Sunrise Rotary Club has brought us the Spring Ride, the first time in their 24-year history. The Tour Delle Vigne is a charity event and not a competition at all. The cycling events are all about leisure and fun along with scenic views of the vineyards, tranquil pastures, and farmlands along lightly traveled roads. The central idea being fundraising, all your participants are expected to have fun and let others have it too. Just be courteous, help others and be safe.

The organizers have put together adequate amenities at your disposal - well-laid-out rest stops, vigilant and helpful support vehicles, and a special souvenir from the Lodi Wine Country. After the ride is over, you can let your hair down at a hearty dinner sponsored by the Interact Club of Lodi High School.

Whether you are a serious or a casual biker, the Tugaloo Corridor has it all for you. The bike events have a very inviting format with something for every skill level. The terrain provides for added adventure and exhilarating experiences. The Tugaloo corridor is the only remaining untamed portion of the Tugaloo River extending from the Panther Creek/Yonah Dam area south to Lake Hartwell, bordering both Georgia and South Carolina. The area is rich with history and some of the most breathtaking scenery at every turn. The roads along the corridor offer gentle to challenging terrain but best of all, there is very little car traffic, making this a wonderful area for cycling. Sites within the Corridor include the pre-historic Indian villages of Tugaloo, Noyowee along with Estate, the historic Providence United Methodist Church, the old Prather’s Covered Bridge, the Eastern end of the Unicoi Turnpike, Traveler’s Rest Stagecoach Inn, and the Prather Mansion “Riverside”.

The format of the tour has raced as Century (100 miles), Metric Century (62 miles), 42 and 22 routes on less-traveled roads. Early and group registrants have some discounts on offer. The Proceeds of the event benefit the Stephens County Foundation for support of the Historic Tugaloo Corridor and other community projects.

Your registration shall include hospitality goodies, an entry in the door prize drawings, SAG stops with snacks, drinks, and homemade baked goods, SAG vehicle support, Post-ride meal and refreshments, drop your gear, and ride service, Entertainment, and Long sleeve dry-fit shirts.

5. Event Bryce Conquer the Mountain - 46 mile Mountain Biking and 32 Mile Gravel Grinder

Event Format - Intense Mountain / Gravel Biking

The Race - Rev3 Endurance and Haymarket Bicycles have designed a great course at Bryce resort to host the Conquer The Mountain - the Mountain Bike Race and the Gravel Grind. Both the formats are challenging and exciting. This will be fast and fun and shall challenge intermediate and advanced riders. The 2021 edition will be, Conquer the Mountain Race and will be hosted out of Bryce Resort. Each rider will get a map, race shirt, aid stations, and ice-cold beverages, and food post-ride at the REV3 Endurance Tent. This is going to be some serious biking, amateurs - stay away. All participants, take it seriously and don’t miss out on the pre-race briefing.
